发起人大好先生从2008年开始就倾注热情在传统的材料、工艺和文化的创新与研究上，我们从传统产业寻找好的材料工艺进行评估，再通过设计创新开发有情感、有意味的产品。同时我们也会推广国内外有趣味的设计作品和设计师项目。

设计与器物考古、宗教、建筑、民艺等不同学科之间存在着深层的关联，这些领域在历史、文化、美学与技术层面相互交织，形成丰富的跨学科结合点。传统不仅仅是遗产，而是流动的基因。很多有趣的东西往往被遗忘在传统的褶皱中，真正的创新，或许正是对历史最深情的回望。
There is a profound connection between design and archaeology, architecture and ancient artifacts. These fields are interwoven at the levels of history, culture, aesthetics and technology, forming rich interdisciplinary intersections. Tradition is not merely heritage but a flowing gene. Many interesting things are often hidden in the folds of forgotten traditions. True innovation may well be the most affectionate look back at history.
